Trouble opening Gaussian 16 output files

Environment Information

Avogadro version: 1.2.0
Library version: 1.2.0
Open Babel version: 2.3.2
Qt version: 4.8.7
Operating system and version: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

Expected Behavior

Open output file after clicking “Open”

Actual Behavior

Avogadro quits immediately after clicking “Open”

Steps to Reproduce

Launch Avogadro -> Click “Open” -> Try opening some G16 output file

Can you post an example file? Not everyone has Gaussian 16… Thanks.

I have unfortunately been busy and have not had a chance to look, sorry.

Same problem here! Avogadro opens Gamess output of a small molecule, but doesnt open output of a bigger molecule

Sorry - I didn’t see your reply down in the thread until now. Can you please post the output file that’s causing problems?
