We’re targeting a release of 2.0.0 on 1 April 2026. We’re excited to show off all the hard work and feedback from years of development.
Now’s the perfect time to help improve translations before release. Every language matters for chemistry worldwide.
Starting now, we’re in a string freeze — meaning no new translatable strings will be added or changed — so any translation work you do now will go directly into the release.
That gives us about two and a half weeks. If you have some time to review, polish, or complete translations, it would be greatly appreciated. And if you know anyone who might want to help, especially for languages that still need coverage, please spread the word.
Thanks again for making Avogadro accessible to users around the world!
