I’ve been thinking about attribution / citation recently.
I feel like Avogadro should track tools used during use and add a View ⇒ Citations command
- I download a structure from PubChem (add a citation)
- I optimize with Open Babel (add citations for Open Babel and UFF)
- I use a plugin script to “solvate” the molecule (add a citation or two)
- I run a calculation with Orca (add a citation)
This may take some time to get going, but I think it would be useful.
Thoughts (e.g., just gather DOI links?)
