Spectra extension

Currently spectraextension consits of very many files, and their quantity may increase if some other SpectraTypes will be added. I propose to move its sources into subdirectory or even make it subproject

Regards,
Konstantin

Sounds ok to me. IIRC it’s just a matter of moving them into a new
subdir and then changing the filenames in the CMakeLists.txt to
contain the subdir name (Marcus, correct me if I’m wrong?).

Yeah, that shouldn’t be a problem. I don’t mind all the files in the
directory, but if it is causing issues there is certainly no technical reason
not to move them into a subdirectory. Not sure it warrants being made into a
subproject, but if people want to we could.

If it were a subproject (separate repo I assume?) it would present another
reason why ABI should be preserved - making these development models easier to
handle.
