Snapshots

This is all cool and everything. Just one issue: Could you release
some kind of “preview” (or alpha, beta, whatever) of OB 2.2-pre?

Sure. I’ll start making OB-2.2 snapshots and posting to SourceForge.

This brings up a second point. Should we post monthly source snapshots
of Avogadro? Call them 0.2.1, 0.2.2, etc. until we release 0.3 or
whatever the next release is?

Cheers,

I would love to see monthly Avogadro snapshots released to help others test. I
could also add some of these to Gentoo’s ebuild repository and I am sure
others could do similar for their distro of choice.

0.2.1 is the first bugfix-release of the 0.2 branch (IMHO).

A snapshot release should be called for example “0.3-pre-r123456” or
“0.3-pre-21122007” for the 21th Dec 2007-release.
