Summary: Snap and align functionality for crystals

Ref bug ID 1977338
I am playing with crystal creations using
FCC, BCC and other types of construction.
It would be nice to "snap to center"
and “align faces” for creating such
structures. I cannot see how to do it
in the current setup (0.8.0 Windows).
