Hi, this is a follow up to Select tool: no easy way to deselect an atom - ID: 1962903
The “control” modifier doesn’t work on 10.6.2. I tried all other modifiers also, nothing seems to deselect a selected atom. I do command shift A to unselect everything. Is there a way to get single atom deselection for the mac? 
Also, it would be handy if double clicking a molecule would select the whole molecule (without having to switch the tool preferences from Atom to Molecule) This would be same as the ChemDraw selection functionality.
