I am unhappy about avogadro2 and I am constantly encountering problems after switching from avogadro to avogadro2, due to my Ubuntu distribution update.
One of the unique feature in avogadro was the ability to manipulate structures and in particular the selection and delete of multiple atoms. Now the selection works badly and more importantly the deletion just does not work.
Basically, you can click and select atoms by mouse (although they do not appear selected for any displaying style but “ball and stick”), but then if you press CANCEL the whole model is deleted (all atoms).
Any suggestions how to solve ?
