What is the folder location of Avogadro’s plugins in MacOS? I see plugins listed in the Download Plugins window that I am pretty sure I have downloaded previously, such as cclib. Is there a way to verify the installed/downloaded plugins?
You’re right - at the moment, there’s not a visual indication in the Download Plugins about what’s installed.
On the Mac, it defaults to ~/Library/Application Support/OpenChemistry/Avogadro/
Thanks. I was primarily interested in cclib. Using Mamba to check installed version and updating (if needed) works but how would users know to update the Avagadro plugin?
At the moment, there isn’t an indication. There will be an indication of updated plugins coming - it’s just not implemented yet.
