It is possible to switch off the “perspective view” in Avogadro 1.0.0?
Also in POVRAY format.

I don’t think this is possible in Avogadro, or from the POVRay file
generation dialogue, but you can change it in the POVRay files generated
by replacing ‘perspective’ in the camera specification with ‘orthographic’.

It probably should be added to the POV-Ray dialog. It’s not possible yet in Avogadro because it requires reworking the rendering code. It’s not as easy as just adding a switch – the 3D transformations are completely different.

But Ian’s right on – it’s easy to change the POV-Ray file to use orthographic projection.
