New build of Linux installer for 1.0.1

You can download it from http://linuxchemist.webatu.com/avogadro/1.0.1/

What’s new:

  • libexpat moved from lib/sys to lib directory (Avogadro will always use bundled one since it’s not present on some systems)
  • removed libdl (Avogadro will always use system one)
  • additional explanations in avogadro.config

Long time ago I’ve proposed to implement “sets of plugins” for different chemistry fields Avogadro could be used for. In this build, I’ve transformed that idea into “optional components” in the installer.

== Quantum Chemistry & Molecular Mechanics ==
engines:
forceengine
surfaceengine
extensions:
forcefieldextension
gamessextension
inputfileextension
spectraextension (still useless without calculated spectra)
surfaceextension
vibrationextension
tools:
autoopttool

== Biochemistry ==
colors:
residuecolor
engines:
cartoonengine
ribbonengine
extensions:
insertpeptideextension

== Crystallography ==
extensions: unitcell, supercell

== Network Fetch ==
== POV-Ray ==
(maybe it’s worth to include povray binary)

In “typical” install all plugins are installed
In “custom” you can disable some of them (or all). No plugin, listed above, will be installed, if its group was disabled

Please, give me a feedback about choice of plugins for groups, or propositions on another groups. Also, please, report if some plugin file is erroneously installed or not installed for some configuration.

Regards,
Konstantin
