Would like to report that the manual provided in
is currently incorrect for Win10 ver. 1.2 of the software (open babel version 2.3.90).
It is currently impossible to create the .lmpdat file as described in the manual. There is no *.lmpdat extension provided in the list of supported file types, and forcing .lmpdat extension results in the “The file type is not supported” error.
I can only assume that the feature was removed at some point but the manual was never updated.
