Initial Comment:
Often (but not always), a white line (see attached screenshot) from the center of the current molecule towards an axis (the green arrow one) is displayed. The lenght of the white lines changes, and it appears/disappears seemingly randomly.
The problem does not occur with 0.9.6.
This is using the nvdia driver, version 173.14.09
