Hi,
I wanted to let you know that we upgraded Gerrit with topic branch
support yesterday. The upgrade seemed to go well, and I am currently
testing the new functionality with the molcore project to ensure
everything works as expected. This means that none of us will need to
create merge commits in the near future as Gerrit knows how to deal
with topics and merge them correctly.
For now, you should be able to continue using things as before. I will
update the documentation, and permissions as soon as I have verified
everything is working as expected.
