I just upgraded Discourse, the software which runs the forum – the new version offers icons for categories rather than somewhat arbitrary colors.
I picked some .. but I’m open to feedback / ideas for the emoji icons.
What do you think? Does it matter?
To me, the present choice of the icons is sensible; both regarding what they are about (globe → international, etc.), as well as the number and types of categories maintained here. It is good because the icons are distinctive even at low resolution/regardless if the colorscheme of the page is toggled to light, or dark. Thus I suggest to keep it this way.
