Follow-up on GAMESS logfiles crashing Avogadro 1.1.0

Dave,

Sorry I haven’t figured out how to reply to your email in the actual
discussion thread. I downloaded your re-compiled version of Avogadro,
and it is able to display the IR spectra from a GAMESS log file, but
when you go to display the individual vibrational frequencies, it
crashes again:

Same log file as before, I would guess it has something to do with the
.dll file that’s mentioned in the error log above. Really appreciate
you compiling a more functional version, and sorry I can’t help out
more with moving this forward.

The crash doesn’t tell us much. I know it’s the vibration plugin which crashed. Can you send me one of these log files? I’m sure I can find the crasher.

Thanks very much,

No worries – we appreciate the bug report!

I’ve attached the log file from earlier that was causing the issue. Odd –
when I open it, I don’t even get any spectra (using OB trunk and Avo
master).
