Dropping bsengine?

Here’s a quick question. Should we drop the bsengine? It seems like
the dynamic balls-and-stick engine has better render quality and
about the same performance in my testing.

Should we just drop the bsengine – we have it in SVN if we want to
bring it back?

Cheers,

I’m for dropping it. Yes, the dynbsengine is better. What’s more, it still has
room to improve as the level-of-detail computations in Painter are still very
imperfect and will be improved.

Cheers,
Benoit
