Summary: Display rendering error

Initial Comment:
I have just downloaded Avogadro, and when I built a test molecule (butane), it failed to display in certain regions of the display window. It was as if there was a mask over the display window (the shape of which I can’t quite determine) where the molecule is not rendered, although it looks fine and behaves properly otherwise. I could get an idea of the extent of the fault by grabbing and rotating the molecule, and it is irregular, “lacy”, and confined to the upper reaches of the display window. I have the Mac version 0.8.1.
Also, the MM module doesn’t seem to like to quit optimizing, but that may not be a bug so much as a very strict gradient requirement; I will check the documentation and see if it can be relaxed.
