Color of unit cell

I think it would be safe to backport unit cell coloring patch (http://github.com/annulen/avogadro/commit/b961b296d7aa5eab2e22dd30c844bf5c94d13da2). There was a feature request on it

I’m not going to backport a feature request to 1.0.x. For one, it requires new translations. It’s much better to get out a 1.1 development release with all the new features that people can try.

The whole idea of a stable release series is that you only do bug fixes. No changes to the interface, no translations. Just bug fixes. This means that the release is “old” and “frozen in time.” I did like the idea of avopkg and the quake interface file. These are important for third-party packages, and they don’t change any avogadro code.

I think we’ll all be better served by working hard on getting some development releases out the door.

Cheers,
