Using the latest avogadro (1.2.0)

I notice that clicking help..report a bug

leads to GitHub · Where software is built

which is a read only page.

I guess that’s a bug in Avogadro that Avogadro links to a read only place, for reporting bugs!!!

Also, the support section of this forum seems to recommend that bugs be posted to github. Yet the github page recommended by the avogadro program itself, is read only.

I suppose this forum is the place for bug reports.

But then perhaps it’d be better if the support section doesn’t say to post on github.

And perhaps it’d be better if the Avogadro program didn’t link to a github page that is read only.

Avogadro 1.2 is not supported, which is why the GitHub page is read-only.

Avogadro 2.0 will be released this spring. https://two.avogadro.cc/

I noticed that the “Home" and “Manual” links in this forum:

Actually link to version 1.2, so that may confuse new users. Could this be updated?

Thanks. So what version are people meant to use in the meantime and where is it available?
