Change the Bond length

hey everyone,

I recently working with Avogadro’s latest version, and I would like to know how I can change the length between two molecules, if anyone knows how it works, just hit me up.

You mention bond length and “length between two molecules.” That’s not quite the same.

If you want to change a bond length, you can use the “bond centric manipulate tool” and drag to change the bond length. You can also go to the bond properties table and click on a bond to edit the length value.

If you want to move two molecules apart, you can pick the manipulate tool and there’s a table to move selected atoms in the x, y, and z directions.
