Summary: Change dihedral angle with bond manipulation
Initial Comment:
It would be really nice if the bond manipulation tool would also allow you to change the dihedral angle.
I can see a few ways of getting this to work:
Clicking on a bonded atom and using the middle button (usually a scroll wheel) to change the dihedral angle.
Clicking on a bonded atom and using the shift key (or similar) to change the dihedral.
Clicking on atoms bonded to the bond atoms and using those as anchor points for the dihedral angle as you drag to rotate.
I like #3 the most. In each case, it would be nice to have an “eyecandy” arrow come up around the bond with the dihedral angle in the corner.
