Can't fetch anything into avogadro 1.2

I believe this to be a bug with Avogadro

Environment Information

Avogadro version: 1.2
Operating system and version:
MacBook pro M1

Expected Behavior

import any molecule by name and import pdb files/by name

Actual Behavior

nothing is uploaded or being added to the file

Steps to Reproduce

for fetching by names I get the following messages: “Specified molecule could not be loaded: Water.sdf”
for dropping in pdb files it crashes.
Please upload files if appropriate here (or via file-sharing service like Dropbox or Pastebin)

Yep. The PDB and NIH “name to molecule” Chemical Resolver have changed their web API. We cannot update or support Avogadro 1.2.

I’d suggest trying a nightly build of Avogadro2: https://two.avogadro.cc/
