Cannot rotate selected fragment

I believe this to be a bug with Avogadro

Environment Information

Avogadro version: 1.93.0-2-gf4e4606
Operating system and version: Ubuntu 18.04
also
Avogadro version: 1.91
Operating system and version: Windows 10

Expected Behavior

While in manipulation mode, right-click and dragging should rotate the selected fragment.

Actual Behavior

While in manipulation mode, right-click and dragging translates all the fragments present.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. open avogdro2
  2. left-click and drag in build mode twice, to build two ethane molecules
  3. go to selection mode and left-click and drag to select only one ethane.
  4. go to manipulation mode, right-click and drag: both ethanes are translated.

If any more info is needed, please let me know

Hi! I did not find the information about such behavior in the Avogadro manual. Manipulate tool behaves exactly the way you described in Avogadro 1.2. So this is not a bug, it should be further inherited in Avogadro 2.
