Avogadro on WIndows and MinGW

Is it possible to compile Avogadro plugins for Windows with mingw?

Konstantin

AFAIK, this should be possible. The Qt creator SDK for windows ships
with mingw 4.x now so it should work. It’s been a while since I tried
using the SDK to compile for windows though.

Hmm. I wasn’t asking about mingw 4 availability (on Linux cross-compiler existed even in times of 4.1).
AFAIK, Avogadro is compiled with MSVC for Windows. Is it true? If so, is it possible to get it loading mingw-compiled dlls? (e.g., maybe it’s needed to set up calling conventions on gcc side or something else)

Yes, all windows releases were made with MSVC.

Now I get your question, I thought you were talking about compiling
avogadro with mingw. I don’t think (or know about) anyone tried this
yet.
