Avo stuffs

Geoff,

Once we get the drawing code in; is there anyway we can get a binary for
OSX. I’d like to send it to my boss and let him see what he thinks.
I’d hope to get him involved in the project and maybe i could focus more
of my time on it.

I think we need to actually get the Tools interface installed.

Hopefully i can find some time soon to update the GL changes too. We
shall see.

Donald,

Well, I can certainly provide a binary for OS X, although it’ll
depend on the Qt-4.2 binary snapshot too. I could probably cook up a
binary installer if that would work. Compared to Ghemical and a range
of other viewer/editor programs, it’s already quite nice on the Mac.

I’m probably not going to be able to work on Avogadro much this week
– I’ll be at the American Chemical Society meeting and leaving on
Friday. With three talks and a poster, I have a pile of things to
finish. I will try to get a basic “tools plugin” interface done
sometime.

On the other hand, if there’s anyone from Iowa, Iowa State or Ames
Lab that I should meet at the ACS (e.g., Brett Bode, etc.) please let
me know.

Cheers,
-Geoff
