Summary: wrong file extension when saving files

Initial Comment:

  • create a new file and draw e.g. methane
  • save the file as “methane.cmdl” (don’t close the file)
  • change the chemical structure from methane to ethane and press Ctrl+S to save the change

Result: Avogadro always pops up a file dialog to save the file as The reason is that the first save action saved the file as “methane.cdml.new” instead of “methane.cmdl”.

I’m using Avogadro 0.9.4 under Windows.
