Newbie here. I am a high school student studying IB chemistry. Recently I’ve been writing up an investigation where my hypothesis is that solvents will be more effective at dissolving molecules of similar dipole moments. Anyways, it would really help my investigation if I could know what algorithm Avogadro uses to calculate the Dipole Moments of molecules. That would mean that I could have the program do the calculations for me, and all I would need to do is explain how they are performed. I don’t need the code or anything, just the name of the method in the algorithm (I noticed there are multiple theorised ways to calculate dipole moments).
