Let’s talk in a separate thread. As I said, it still doesn’t help that a variety of tools still expect conda, but perhaps we can sort out some options (e.g., pixi seems like it will figure out uv or conda-forge).

Sure, let’s. I think pixi would be an ideal solution tbh.
