Target Release Date for 0.2?

Last night I had an interesting idea for the release date for 0.2.
Here in the U.S., October 23rd is written 10/23. So the American
Chemical Society calls this “Mole Day” and it’s part of National
Chemistry Week. There’s lots of demos done in grad schools and the like.

Since that’s about 2 weeks away, that seems like a fun target date
for the 0.2 release. Perhaps only the US audience would get the joke,
but it seems fitting that Avogadro have a new release on 10/23.

The basic idea would be that we’d concentrate on fixing bugs and
touching up the web site and documentation over the next 14 days,
then build packages on Friday, Oct. 19th and have the weekend and
Monday, Oct. 22nd to touch up any docs and web site changes.

Thoughts?

Anytime. There seem to be some issues with Avogadro on Leopard, but I
don’t know if that’s a Leopard issue, a Qt on Leopard issue, or a
real Avogadro issue that’s only exposed by Leopard.

For now, Leopard isn’t released, so I’ll just build a package for 10.4.

Cheers,
-Geoff

Hehe, I like that. If you give me an URL of a exe-file for an uptodate
Avogadro I will test it this evening (that is ~7pm german time, in 11.5h).

I will visit a friend with a windows pc.
