Saving optimization as animations

Hi,

Is it possible to save an animation of an optimization performed using on of
Avogadro’s force fields? I’m using version 0.9.4 at the moment, and I can load
a trajectory and save it as avi, but I can’t figure out how to do it for an
optimization.

At the moment, no. The optimization steps are not saved as a
trajectory, so there’s no way to save the animation.

It’s a good idea, though. I’ll file a feature request.
