Hello
I’m a trainee and I’ve installed avogadro on my PC (Kubuntu 7.10) using aptitude package.
Actually some options are disabled. For example I can’t use any force field.
Look at what Avogadro says to me when I start it from a console :
System has OpenGL support.
Locale: "en_US"
Loaded translations (if needed) about to test OpenGL capabilities.
OpenGL capabilities found:
Double Buffering.
Direct Rendering.
Antialiasing.

I’ve installed Avogadro on my personnal computer (Kubuntu 8.10) with the same method (sudo apt-get install avogadro) and it works perfectly.
I thought it could be a problem with my user rights but it seems that even launched with sudo it doesn’t work.
Some other features are missing in extensions menu.
