I’ve found that in Windows Avogadro can’t open files with Russian letters in path (in Linux all is fine). I have an idea that W doesn’t use utf8. I’d like to try to fix it, but I’ve run into troubles with cross-compiling Avogadro (and I see there will be more troubles to set up environment on Windows).

I am not currently building Avogadro on Windows. I would like to get this up
and running at some point as Windows has always been our greatest source of
pain. Currently finding spare time to do this is an issue, but it is on my list
of things that would be nice.
I have no Windows license/machine available outside of a VM right now (nor a
license for Windows greater than XP Home)…
