Hi, I have used Avogadro for a long time. I recently installed it in a new computer, but it does not draw. I also cannot open xyz files. Basically, the atoms do not show up on the screen. I verified the display types, but none of the options visualize the atoms. Does anybody have any insight? The OS is Windows 10 64-bit. Thank you!
What would help is to know:
- What version of Avogadro are you using?
- Can you take a screen shot of your current display types?
- If you choose View ⇒ Debug Information, do you see that atoms and bonds are created?
When you say you “cannot open XYZ files” do you mean that nothing is displayed or another error is indicated?
