Initial Comment:
In some cases (metal-metal bonds) you might have a quadruple bond. So we should add that as a possibility in the draw tool and render engines.
In other cases, you may want to draw a dashed line to indicate a weak bonding interaction. (Bond order = 0, if anything) This would be good for hydrogen bonding, for example.
