Maniplating molecules

Dear Avogadro users,

thanks a lot for your very quick answer!!
Al last I was able to install Avogadro and now I am learning how to use it. I
already have a question…is it possible to change atomic colour?
I am drawing dolomite and as usual Ca and Mg are coloured like.

Thanks again

Best wishes

Azzurra

CMake Error at cmake/modules/FindLinguist.cmake:47 (message):
Could NOT find convert

You either don’t have Qt development packages installed, or at least Qt 4.5
available (which introduced lconvert).

Hope that helps,

This is possible in the current development code, where you can set custom colors for any given atom. Since you’re compiling from source code, I’d suggest getting the latest code from GitHub:

https://github.com/cryos/avogadro/tarball/master

This URL should give you a .tar.gz of the latest source.

Hope that helps,
