Irc

Perfect, thanks! i hope you to like our work!

Hi,

To List: below is something I saw today on IRC, might be of interest.

To Andrea: instead of IRC, it’s better to write to this list. Also, if you
subscribre to this list, you’ll be assured to get notified about future
avogadro releases.

Cheers,

Benoit

[13:06] maybe there should be an avogadro-announce mailing list for
these kinds of things

I do think this is a great idea - we should create an announce list for
package maintainers and others who just want to know about new releases,
important patches/bug fixes etc. This would complement our -discuss list
which is more user oriented.

This is a great news. There is a duplication here, though. I am
also “maintaining” OpenBabel for KDE4:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4/openSUSE_10.2/i586/

OpenBabel 2.2 is needed for the upcoming Avogadro 0.3 and as far as I know
there is no RPM for OpenSUSE available. I would be more than happy to
remove “my” OpenBabel-script and use only yours.

Attached you find my .spec file. Lets join forces, ok?

Forgot to mention: The pendantic.diff is only needed for OB 2.1.x, In OB 2.2
this has already been merged!
