AFAIU now, avogadro-super just fetches git repositories of Avogadro and OB into it’s directory. Maybe shell script fetching OB from SVN will be more effective? (No need to keep and update OB Git)

Well, I’ve got a cron job which maintains the git mirror. It’s not a big deal. Or, if you like, you can have a cron job which pulls OB from SVN – I have that on my laptop. It doesn’t matter either way.
