Hi,
I have generated a supercell in avogadro. I want to remove some of the
atoms. Is there a way I can remove them by the aid of the gui and not
guessing their position in the Cartesian built?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sara

You can delete atoms by right-clicking on them with the “Draw” tool.
Hope this helps,

You can use the selection tool, and then either hit the delete key or
use edit->clear should remove any selected atoms (and bonds).

I am afraid this very convenient feature has been removed in the last version (avogadro2) as available on Ubuntu and now atoms could only be deleted one by one as suggested by @allison.vacanti
