Create a .avi of a Rotating Molecule

Hi, I created a molecule and I would like to save 1 rotation around it so I
can demonstrate it’s shape.

I tried extensions -> animation -> save as .avi, but when I save it the
video consists of 1 frame. It mentions something about a trajectory file,
but I am unsure how to make one.

Could you please CC me so I get any responses as I didn’t make an account.

Hi Phil,

As it happens this is a new feature I am working on. It isn’t ready just
yet. The animation extension currently supports trajectories typically
produced by MD simulations. I think the 360 molecule rotation will
likely be the first addition I make.
