Compiling Avogadro with Python Extension on Mac OS X

Hi all, its been a while since I was looking into this, I just
remember I could not get it resolved but it still is on my to-do list:
Has anyone managed to compile Avogadro including the Python Extension on
Mac OS X? I have managed to get it compiled without the Python
extension, so at least that is possible, but thats not what I ultimately
want.

Would be cool if someone could confirm this, so I know I’m not working
on something impossible.

Yes, it works. I could probably make an Intel-only 10.6 python build, but it’s kind of a pain, because you need to use an Installer package (.pkg). I haven’t figured out a way to get it to work as a regular Avogadro.app.
