Speaking about releases, I found out that Apple will have a booth at
the American Chemical Society. One of the MacResearch.org folks will
be there to do demos and let people try out chemistry tools on a Mac.
Since many commercial vendors will already be in attendance,
MacResearch would rather show off open source chemistry tools.
I think this is a fantastic opportunity. The ACS conference has
~15,000 attendees.
The catch? ACS runs August 19-23.
I don’t know the deadline for getting binaries to Dave yet. I’m
hoping it will be suitably late that I’ll be back from my honeymoon
(Aug. 15th).
While I can certainly compile whatever is in SVN trunk at that point,
it might be a really good time for the August release.
Cheers,
-Geoff
