Summary: Adding two Si atoms with “adjust hydrogens” -> corrupt view

Initial Comment:
This is with Avogadro r1485, OpenBabel r2496M.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Launch Avogadro
  • in “draw tool”, make sure the “adjust hydrogens” checkbox is ticked.
  • in “draw tool”, choose Element->Other… and select Si in the periodic table.
  • draw one Si atom. One H atom gets automatically added.
  • draw a second Si atom. The molecule disappears !

There is no problem if “adjust hydrogens” is not ticked. Also, only Si seems to cause problems.
